Summer is coming and so is the Utah Ukulele Festival

Aloha!!!
School is almost out. Summer is almost here. That can only mean one thing…the 2015 Utah Ukulele Festival is right around the corner! Come be a part of the fun by signing up to be in the Open Mic Competition (14 & Under/15+) or by registering to be a vendor/concessions. We will have lots of fun activities going on throughout the day, so be sure to keep an eye out for the Event Schedule that will be posted in July. Hurry on over to our webpage and sign up/register to help us spread a little Aloha to all who come!

Lots of fun had…and to be had…

Aloha All!

The ukulele lessons at Hillcrest have come to an end for this school year. We had such a blast! We want to thank everyone involved, both students and instructors, as well as Hillcrest Elementary School providing us with this amazing opportunity. We can’t wait until next Fall to do it all again.

Now on to continued preparation for this year’s Utah Ukulele Festival. We have a lot of fun things planned…Open Mic competition (register by following the link at the top of the page), musical performances, Polynesian dancers, lei making, and as always…free ukulele lessons.

We still have spots open for vendors of all kinds…food…crafts…face painting…etc. Follow the link below for more information and register to be a part of this fun and exciting event!

Happy Aloha Friday!!!

We would like to give a big Mahalo Nui Loa to a few of our sponsors: Ukulele Underground, KoAloha Ukulele, MiSi, and KSM Music! We’ve received lots of cool swag from these companies, and we truly appreciate each one’s offer to serve up a little bit of Aloha that we are excited to pass along to you at this year’s festival.
Also, for all you budding ukulele enthusiasts, we are excited to announce that this year our Open Mic Competition will have two categories: 14 and Under & 15+. So, start strumming and plucking now, so you can come out and get your uke on!!! We’ll have lots of great prizes to give away!
